My life has taken an entirely new direction since I fell in love with a new jewelry material called Precious Metal Clay. Now, my goal is to hand-craft Fine Silver into unique, and hopefully beautiful, pieces of wearable art.
My journey to creating Fine Silver jewelry has been circuitous. I have been involved with Ceramics, Photography and Jewelry for most of my life. I ran my own ceramic studio for eight years, selling at shows while also teaching up to ten classes a week and doing jewelry, too.
Then I worked in advertising photography for three years.
But for the last 20+ years, I took a detour into television news producing medical news reports and half-hour medical television programs for ABC-TV, San Francisco.
After retiring, I took my first class in Precious Metal Clay in March of 2008 and by the second day of the two-day class, I knew I had lost my heart and soul to this wonderful medium. I want to do Fine Silver Jewelry from Precious Metal Clay for the rest of my life.
PMC is now my Passion.
