I have a B.S in Biology and currently work full time as an Administrator in a medical research facility in Cleveland, Ohio.  That’s my job.  My passion is creating jewelry.  I started when I was about 8 years old.  It was the 60’s and strands of love beads were the cool thing to wear.  As I grew up I moved from one creative outlet to another….drawing, painting, sewing, crewel, needlepoint, and cross-stitch.  I came back to creating jewelry in the late 90’s and started where I left off….bead stringing.  In May 2005, I had a necklace on the cover of Bead Style Magazine.  Over the years I’ve migrated to working in metal clay and have used it exclusively when bronze was released.  Bronze speaks to me like no other metal.  It has driven me to study ancient cultures and make items that look like artifacts.  My husband calls my work in bronze “The Ancients”.
